One vehicle accident sends driver to hospital

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A one car accident sent the driver to a Jackson hospital Wednesday night.

Authorities are not saying how it happened, but a Honda Accord was wrapped around a pole on Interstate 55.

It appears the driver was exiting Woodrow Wilson and getting onto I-55 south when the accident occurred.

Emergency crews responded and an ambulance took the victim to UMC.

No word on their condition.
