ABERDEEN, MS (WLBT)- An Alabama high school football coach is in a Mississippi jail this morning.

He has entered pleas on child molestation charges and for trying to get the victim to lie to authorities.

Dwight Bowling entered a not guilty plea on a number of charges Wednesday in an Aberdeen circuit court.

This all stems from charges back in November.

Bowling was indicted on two counts of sexual battery two counts of child exploitation three counts of fondling, and one count of bribery of a witness.

He's being held at the Lafayette county jail in Oxford.

And he faces federal charges along with state charges in Ittawamba County.

Meantime, Bowling is currently on administrative leave as head coach at Sulligent High School in Alabama.
