Jackson, MS (WLBT)  - Private entrepreneurs and public officials across the state have set a game plan for economic growth this year.

Blueprint Mississippi 2011 launched this morning and is spear-headed by the Mississippi Economic Council, the Mississippi Partnership for Economic Development and Momentum Mississippi.   The blueprint's purpose is to establish a foundation for economic opportunity. 

The state's commissioner of higher education is chairing the research project.  This initiative is funded privately and valued at more than one-million-dollars.  It's a follow-up to the blueprint project in 2004.
