KANSAS CITY, MO (NBC) - A high-speed chase interrupted breakfast at one Kansas City McDonald's Tuesday.
A driver being pursued by police swerved up and down streets in residential neighborhoods at speeds up to 60 miles per hour, barely avoiding police stop sticks along the way.
The suspect finally came to a screeching halt in front of a McDonald's restaurant.
A KSHB news helicopter following the chase showed employees and customers stream out of the restaurant's exits after the man ran inside with police just a few feet behind, guns drawn.
He was quickly brought out in handcuffs. Police say the man was driving a stolen car.
