Miss. man charged in child-porn case - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) - Jackson Court Sheriff Mike Byrd said an Ocean Springs man has been arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography.
Byrd said 58-year-old Joel Guy Bowie was taken into custody Monday after authorities searched his home, seizing a computer hard drive and other items.
The sheriff said Bowie is accused of downloading images of children between the ages of 4 and 11 engaged in sex acts.
It was not clear whether Bowie had an attorney.
