Boil water alert for Crystal Springs

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, MS (WLBT) - A boil water alert is in affect for the entire city of Crystal Springs until further notice.

Mayor Arthur Evans said a water main break was caused by construction crews. In order to fix the break water pressure has been reduced.

All Crystal Springs residents have been asked to bring water to a rolling boil before ingesting.

Clinton Police Department's Interim Chief Mike Warren said upon further investigation, it appears a disagreement over a woman may have led to the death of a Jackson man.
