RANKIN CO. (WLBT)- The Mississippi Department of Transportation will close a lane of traffic starting Monday on I-20 in Rankin County.
MDOT will shut down the right lane of I-20 eastbound between US Highway 49 and Pearson Road starting at 7:00 am until 3:00 pm Monday and Tuesday.
Crews are expected to set beams in preparation to widen the bridge. Pearson road at the I-20 bridge will be closed for 20 minute intervals as needed. MDOT is urging commuters to use alternate routes if possible.
