Nissan Employee Arrested at Work

Canton, MS (WLBT) - A Nissan employee was arrested last week while on the job in Canton. Madison County deputies took Samuel L. Harris, 44, into custody on January 28th.

According to Sheriff Toby Trowbridge, Harris is charged with raping a woman at a home in the Kingston Subdivision in Canton. The victim, who Trowbridge says is approximately 18-years-old, claims the rape happened last Friday morning, the same day Harris was arrested at work.

Harris, who lives at 117 Branson Lane in Camden, is currently calling the Madison County Detention Center home where he is being held on $25,000 bond.
