Senate confirms Graves nomination

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The U-S Senate has just voted to confirm Mississippi Supreme Court Justice James Graves to a seat on the Fifth U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

President Barack Obama nominated Judge Graves for the federal judgeship.

Graves is a native of Clinton and served as a Hinds County Circuit Court Judge before ascending to the Supreme Court in 2001.
