Suspicious package at Ridgewood hospital - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Select Specialty hospital on Ridgewood road was on lock down for some time because of a suspicious package.
Jackson police said a male subject was seen casing the parking lot and then placing a brown paper bag taped up beside a parking space.
A woman noticed the individual and alerted the hospital.
The bomb squad and swat team responded.
Investigators determined the contents of the package were not a threat.
Normal operations at the hospital resumed a short time later.
No arrests have been made.
