Jackson caregiver faces kidnapping and abuse charges

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson caregiver is arrested for a third time while out on bond for a Hinds county indictment.

Investigators with the attorney general's office took 35 year old Stephanie Fields into custody again on a Madison county indictment.

In that county she faces one count felony kidnapping and one count felony abuse of a vulnerable adult.

Fields was first arrested February 9, 2010 on various charges including identity theft and exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

She was arrested again in April 2010 on an additional 15 counts. This includes exploitation of a vulnerable adult and one count of accessory after the fact in culpable negligent manslaughter.
