Flowood, MS (WLBT) -They are another year older, and a little less hopeful of finding a permanent family. 17 year old Maurice and 16 year old Marcus have been featured on Wednesday's Child since they were 13 and 14 years old. Their younger brother Kelvin is in a placement but they are still waiting. They were hoping by now they would be adopted together, beginning a new life with a forever family.

Getting this trio to talk was almost impossible with the exception of Maurice. He is the practical joker who is thrilled with art work and television cameras.

"Tell me some things that you like to do. Basketball, bowling, and that's it. You said you like art. I like art. Tell me about what you're creating.. You've created a dog. A dog named Spike", said Maurice.

Marcus warmed up just a bit.

"I'm smart. I'm well dressed. You're what now? Well dressed. Well dressed, okay. Do you like clothes?  Nods yes. Do you like going shopping? Nods yes", Marcus said.

All three boys enjoy sports.

"I want to be a basketball player. Which team? Lakers", Maurice said.

"Play basketball, football, baseball and volleyball", said Marcus.

The boys hope to be adopted together and will need a structured two parent family.

For more information on adoption call the Mississippi Adoption Resource Exchange at 1-800-821-9157.
