LEXINGTON, MS (WLBT) - Testimony began in the statutory rape trial of Terry Gibson in Lexington Thursday.

The 40-year-old faces four counts of statutory rape, and two counts of child neglect by incest.

In the indictment, the former High School security guard is accused of raping three teenage girls under the age of 16. Two of the victims were his own biological daughters.

His daughters testified Thursday describing in detail how their father violated them.

Prosecutors say they have ten witnesses they plan to call to the stand.

Gibson is represented by Jackson attorney Chokwe Lumumba.

He is out on bond while the trial is underway.
