LEXINGTON, MS (WLBT) - Terry Gibson took the stand in his own defense this afternoon and denied he had sex with any of his accusers.

Gibson was facing four counts of statutory rape and two counts of child neglect by incest, but two of the charges were dropped before the defense began presenting its case.

Defense attorney Chokwe Lumumba claimed the state failed to establish the ages of the victims at the time of their rapes.

Lumumba also argued the child neglect charges didn't apply to this case, because that implied a third party was responsible for the rapes.

Gibson, a former High School security guard is accused of raping three teenage girls under the age of 16. Two of the victims were his own biological daughters.
