JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The boil water notice issued Sunday for south Jackson residents has been lifted.
The Mississippi Department of Health reports that the water is safe to drink following two consecutive days of testing.
The alert was affected people living on the Maddox Road areas between TV Road and Portwood Drive, Timberlawn Road, Channel 16 Way and Leggett Drive, Harvey Street and Jackson Avenue.
The boil water notice was the result of a loss of water pressure.
