Cat blamed for two vehicle crash

ATTALA, MS (WLBT) - Drivers blame a cat for causing a wreck in Attala County.

The accident happened just after 9 a.m. Saturday morning on Williamsville Road off Highway 35 south.

The driver of a pick up truck slammed on the brakes when a cat ran in the path of his vehicle. Due to the sudden stop a van struck the truck from behind.

Attala County deputies and the Highway Patrol responded to the accident. No one was seriously hurt.
