
FAYETTE, MS (WLBT) - A Pike County woman was arrested for smuggling drugs to a Jefferson County inmate during visitation.
Sheriff Peter Walker said 27-year-old Coquenna L. Nunnery of McComb was charged with bringing marijuana into the jail.
Nunnery was taken into custody Saturday at the Jefferson-Franklin Correctional Facility.
She was charged with smuggling the drugs to 22-year-old state inmate Fredrius Brooks.
Brooks also faces charges.
Sheriff Walker said Nunnery was in possession of more than 12.5 ounces of marijuana.
