Escaped inmate captured

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The inmate who walked away from a Gallatin Street Restitution Center Thursday afternoon has been caught.

Eddie Charles Milligan was caught in Jackson around 10:45 last night by Mississippi Department of corrections investigators.

Milligan was taken to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County. He was serving time for a burglary conviction in Forrest county.

Now he faces charges for escape.
