JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Afternoon tea gathered dozens to the Fairview Inn in Jackson Saturday.  Delicious scones, cakes and finger sandwiches from Sophia's Restaurant were not the only reason for the large crowd.  The hat wearing women were attending to support the Little Light House.

The non-profit Christian development center helps children with special needs ages birth to six years old.  Licensed teachers and therapists provide one-on-one instruction and early intervention to the children.

"We provide educational services from certified special education teachers and also physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy all on a tuition free basis for the parents," said Little Light House Associate Director Kara Butler.

The comprehensive services were offered daily and free of charge to 20 children.
