JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Downpours Saturday afternoon made driving difficult and dangerous for some motorists in the metro area.  This wreck occurred around 2:00 p.m. on I-55 in Jackson.

A female was driving an SUV in the south bound lanes of the interstate when she lost control.  The vehicle slammed into a guard rail near the Lakeland Drive exit.  No one was injured and no other cars were involved.  Traffic was slowed as Jackson Police worked to shut down a portion of the outside lane and clear the wreckage.
