JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Numerous thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall and scattered severe storms are expected Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Large hail, damaging winds up to 60 mph and a few tornadoes can be expected with the most intense storms.
In addition, these storms could produce several inches of rain in a short period of time which could lead to flash flooding especially over areas along the Natchez Trace Parkway and southeast.
The strong storms will arrive Tuesday night while most are sleeping. Please have your NOAA weather radio on and stay tuned to the latest developments on WLBT.
These storms will be out of the WLBT viewing area by Noon Wednesday.
