SMYRNA, TN (WLBT) - A small twin engine plane crashed in Smyrna, Tennessee Friday afternoon.
WSMV, a Nashville television station, reports no one on board survived the crash.
The plane, a Cessna 310, was from Oxford, Mississippi. The aircraft was registered to Hudson Management Corporation in Tupelo.
The plane crashed under unknown circumstances three to four miles south of Smyrna Airport after taking off at about 2 p.m.
Authorities say it looked as though the plane nose-dived into the field after skimming trees on its sudden descent.
Debris was scattered throughout a field where the crash occurred.
