Jackson, MS (WLBT) - A convicted felon is in trouble again in Jackson. Twenty-three-year-old Michael Donnell Lee boarded a Jatran bus with a rifle Thursday morning.
Jackson Police spokesperson, Officer Colendula Green says they found Lee outside the bus on Briarwood Road near Keele Street. They noticed what appeared to be a cast sticking out of Lee's left leg. It turned out to be a rifle case with a Marlin 30-30 lever action rifle.
Lee is charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He also faces a charge from the Mississippi Department of Corrections for carrying a concealed weapon.
