NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The management of the New Orleans Saints reacted to the NFL's first work stoppage since 1987 with a statement expressing confidence that an accord can be reached while efforts to improve the team continue.
"Our football operations are preparing for the draft, our coaches continue to prepare for football and our business operations continue to work closely with our sponsors and our fans, to make sure that they are also prepared for football," said a statement issued Saturday by team spokesman Greg Bensel.
