Clinton Woman Sentenced for ID Theft

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A Clinton resident was headed to prison for fraudulent use of another person's identity Monday.

31 year old Charmaine Kelly was sentenced in a Madison County courtroom to ten years and one day behind bars.

Kelly pleaded guilty to three counts of ID theft.

Investigators say her victim is a quadriplegic she served as a caregiver for.

Kelly must also pay restitution, court expenses, and a fine.
