JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Thick clouds have stuck around during the overnight period, thus we have a very warm start to the day. We'll see temps to once again to rise into the mid 80s, well above the norm for this time of the year. As the day progresses, we're expecting a cold front to push through, but without any threat of widespread rain showers. We'll stay dry and the clear for tonight, which will allow temps to drop into the 50s overnight. Tomorrow's high of 75 will still be above the norm, just not quite as high as we've been experiencing lately. Rain chances have now shifted from the weekend to early next week.
