RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson Police are hoping surveillance video leads them to the man who held up a convenience store overnight.
The manager of Murphy Express on Ridgewood Road told police that a man entered the store around 1:30 and tried to purchase several items.
He presented an EBT card that was declined then the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.
He took the cash then fled. The robber is described as a black male with a medium complexion and medium build, 5' 8" to six feet tall.
He was wearing a light and dark blue long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
