Charley Pride gets Country Music Trail Marker

Country music legend Charley Pride was honored this afternoon with a marker on the Mississippi Country Music Trail. A ceremony was held in Sledge, Pride's home town.

A portion of Mississippi 3 has also been renamed Charley Pride Highway.

The Mississippi Country Music Trail was established in 2009, and has more than 30 markers.
