Jackson, MS (WLBT) - If it sparkles and shines this week's Wednesday's Child is a fan. She is a real glamour girl who hopes to see her name in lights. 10 year old Selena found the perfect place for her love of entertainment and music at the Mississippi Children's Museum. She hopes to make her next visit there with her forever family.

Selena is a big fan of music, especially Beyonce. She loves going to the mall, and being in the spotlight.

"I like school. What do you like about school? Homework. Really. What kind of homework do you like to do? Math. So are you good at math? Yes mam. Wonderful. What do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor", said Selena.

Selena has four other siblings . Three of them are in foster care including her little brother Henry. Two of her siblings are already in adoptive homes.

"We live in a foster home. How often do you get to see each other. Mmm. I don't…Tell me about some of the things that you like to do, that you like to play. Do you like? Cheerleader. So are you a cheerleader? Nods no. Tell me why you like cheerleaders? Because they do awesome things", Selena said.

Selena is proud and protective of Henry. They live in separate foster homes and she is anxious to find a permanent place where they can be together.

"He's sweet, he's awesome. Does he keep you busy? Mmm..hmmm", said Selena.

In addition to having a good home, Selena is hopeful she and Henry will be able to maintain contact with their other siblings.

"To care for me, and don't beat me and don't whip me. And cares about your brother? And cares about my sister too. You have a sister? 2 sisters and 2 brothers", Selena said.
