Alright ladies, this is an exercise in good judgement. I have surveillance video to show what happens when you let your guard down. On it you see an unidentified subject, he wanders into a local business. No one is at the receptionist desk. It's unattended. And guess what, so is her purse.

According to Ridgeland cops this guy causally wanders in, opens the bag, snags the wallet. Easy pickings. Then he and his friend girl allegedly have a hay day, illegally blowing 1-thousand dollars on the victims' credit card for gift cards.

But they were really in the market for high priced electronic equipment. Ridgeland police tell us a man and woman are involved in this rip off. The male is about 5' 7" and weighs in at 170. He's in his 20's maybe 30's.

Help put a stop to this type of larceny. And ladies, watch your purses when you turn your backs.

If you know these people call Ridgeland Police at 601-856-2121 or Crimestoppers 601-355-8477
