Warm, clear weekend ahead

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The sunshine of today will be the lead into the warmer than usual weather for the entire weekend. High pressure will take over for the entire weekend, giving us an abundance of sunshine. The only "bump" in the road may be a passing sprinkle/shower we could see this evening. A random rain shower is popping up on the forecast models for this evening and could push through the northern and central portions of the state tonight after 7pm. Saturday is looking clear nice. Sunday will be great as well with highs in the lower 80s. Next week may be a bit stormy, particularly Monday afternoon / evening.
