Today's weather pattern is not a result of a direct influence of high pressure, but results are close to the same, sunshine and clear skies. A stationary front is to our north, block was little bit of moisture, clouds and rain heading our direction. The strong flow of warm air from the gulf will set us up for ever increasing temps; perhaps close to record highs by the weekend. This 'blocking frontal boundary' is likely to break down by Sunday with clouds pouring through. Sunday evening and overnight is the next time frame for significant storms to form and march through our neck of the woods. We'll keep you posted on WLBT.COM, FACEBOOK AND TWITTER.
