A basketball team recognized worldwide for its tricks and skill on the basketball court is making a trip back to Jackson.
The Harlem Globetrotters will play at Jackson State University on Saturday, April 16th. But, on Monday, Globetrotter Blenda Rodriguez traveled to town to donate fifty tickets to the Jackson "Police Athletic League."
However, before those tickets are handed out, Mayor Harvey Johnson has to try to shoot the team's new four-point shot, which is 35 feet away from the hoop.
Rodriguez says, "well, the 4-point shot, the way it works we activate it every last three minutes of each quarter and every time we make a 4-point shot we donate four pairs of eyeglasses to kids in need of eye care."
The game is at Jackson State University this Saturday at 2:00 PM. For more information in ticket sales go to ticketmaster.com.
