Visitation and funeral service set for Mississippi Marine killed

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

WLBT has learned the body of Staff Sergeant Jason Rogers will be returned to Mississippi Thursday.

The Marine, a native of Brandon, was killed last week while serving in Afghanistan.

Visitation will be held at Pinelake Baptist Church in Brandon Friday from 6 to 9 PM.

His funeral service will also be held at the church at 3 PM Saturday with internment at the new Brandon cemetery.
