Fire destroys Attala County home

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An Attala County home was completely destroyed by fire Thursday.

Officials responded to 4794 Attala Road 1107 with heavy smoke showing.

Once firefighters arrived they discovered the entire interior was engulfed.

Emergency personnel were told one of the homeowners had inhaled smoke and needed to be checked out. They were not transported.

The cause is under investigation.
