Fire rescue truck crashes, one injured

YAZOO CITY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Rescue crews in Yazoo City had to help one of their own Wednesday.

Just after 4:00 pm, firefighters were responding to a 9-1-1 call when the driver lost control on East 15th Street, near Wardell Leach Park.

The truck flipped, and the cab was crushed.

The two firefighters inside were injured.

One was taken to a local hospital and the other was airlifted to Jackson via Medstat.

No word on their conditions.
