Authorities have now identified the body of a man found in the Mississippi River near Vicksburg back on April 4th.
Warren County officials say 58-year-old David Lawson of Roe, Arkansas was identified using dental records. Lawson disappeared from a River Logging Operation last November.
The coast guard alerted authorities when Lawson's boat was found on the Mississippi River near the Coahoma-Bolivar County line. His body was later spotted by a tow boat operator about four miles from the river bridge at Vicksburg.
The Coahoma County Coroner says the cause of death is freshwater drowning.
