Softball player collapses and dies during game - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
TUPELO, MS (WLBT) Tragedy struck in north Mississippi when a 39-year-old man collapsed and died during a weekend softball game.
The Lee County Coroner said the man from the Dorsey Community fell to the ground yesterday after rounding second base.
His identity has not yet been released.
The coroner also said the he had no prior medical history and no known major illnesses.
Even though the death appears to be of natural causes, the coroner plans on requesting an autopsy Monday to see if it was a heart attack.
