Storms leave damage along Springridge Road

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Early morning storms caused lots of power lines and trees to fall along Springridge Road in Hinds County.

Officials from the Hinds County Sheriff's Department say a car ran over a fallen power line near Springridge Road and Lake Mimosa Drive early this morning. The driver was not injured.

Entergy crews are expected to clean up the fallen trees and power lines.
