Today's Storms & Tomorrow's River Concerns

Posted: Updated:

The kick off the work week will begin quietly with calm sunshine this morning, but fast changes are on the way. The best rain chances will hold off until  tonight and Tuesday morning. Cooler air will filter in behind the front by Tuesday, when highs will not get out of the 60s. Rain should be done by late Tuesday afternoon and skies will clear for Wednesday. Warmer weather will be the rule going into next weekend with dry weather in place. The rest of the work week appears to be shaping up to be another quiet one. One serious concern will be the river levels along the Big Black, Yazoo and Mississippi Rivers. We're anticipating the flood stage at various sites along all these rivers to reached, overtaking or just shy of hazardous levels. Stay tuned to us and we'll update you during the week on the latest changes of the stages.
