The start of Wednesday includes a great deal of fog in the state, especially in the eastern and southern portions along the highways. Don't be surprised if early morning commutes are slowed down by visibilities as low of 1/4 of a mile or even less. Recovering sunshine by mid morning and temps will quickly climb into the mid 70s. Tonight we'll have clear skies again and drop by 30+ degrees for a chill overnight, followed by more sunshine for tomorrow. Record breaking levels along the Mississippi river is still the biggest concern and weather story over the next few days. Early hydrological models indicate we could surpass the devastating floods of the 70s and perhaps go beyond record numbers set in the 1920s. Stay tuned to WLBT as we keep up updated on any changes along the Mississippi River.
