Caesar Salad Prosciutto Wraps

Caesar Salad Prosciutto Wraps

  •  2 to 3 heads of Romaine, washed and tough outer leaves removed*
  • 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces of sliced Prosciutto
  • 1 cup of Croutons
  • 1-1/2 cups of All Natural Cardini's Original Caesar Dressing
  • 8 ounce tub of Crème Fraiche
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

 To make wraps:

Place 2 – 3 small, tender leaves of Romaine lettuce on your work surface.  Sprinkle cheese down the center of leaves and roll up in a bundle and wrap with a piece of Prosciutto.  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

To make dressing or dip:

In a bowl mix Caesar Dressing and Crème Fraiche until smooth.  Add lemon zest and black pepper and mix well. 

 *You may buy hearts of Romaine lettuce in a package in the produce section of the grocery.
