MHP investigating fatal Sharkey county crash

PANTHER BURN, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a Sharkey county woman.

Corp. Odie Easterling said 27 year old Chrystal Britton of Rolling Fork died in a two vehicle accident on Highway 61 North in Panther Burn.

State troopers responded to the scene around 12:30 am Saturday.

A passenger in Britton's vehicle was also hospitalized.

Information about the second vehicle involved in the crash was not available.

No other injuries were reported.
