Coast Guard reopens portion of Mississippi River to vessels - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
The U.S. Coast Guard is reopening the Mississippi River north of New Orleans.
Officials are allowing cargo vessels to pass slowly, one at a time.
A 15-mile stretch at Natchez, was closed entirely earlier during the day on Tuesday.
