Start Over: Lawyers for accused serial killer Anthony Sowell want jurors thrown out

Posted: Updated:

19 Action News has found yet another move that could delay the trial for accused serial killer Anthony Sowell.

Defense lawyers want a thousand possible jurors thrown out--and jury selection hasn't even started.

Anthony Sowell has been charged with the murders of 11 women in the Cleveland area.

Cuyahoga County court recently sent out notices to a thousand possible jurors for Sowell's trial next month.

Sowell attorneys are saying "start over" because the judge already excused a few jurors on his own.

Meanwhile, another hearing has been set for next week.
