JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police have charged three time convicted felon George Affleck with possession of a firearm, and believe he is connected to the disappearance of a south Jackson woman.

Dianne Hearn. 61, was last seen with Affleck, her ex-boyfriend, late Sunday night.

A neighbor says Hearn was struggling and screaming as he forced her into his truck at her home on Tree Haven, after 10:00 p.m.

Affleck allegedly made a call to relatives in Texas, telling them he had hurt someone.

Dallas Police then called Jackson Police.

Sources say police found Affleck sitting in his blood spattered home on Creston Avenue.

He was arrested and charged as a convicted felon carrying a gun.

Crime scene investigators were at George Afflecks home Tuesday, but refused to talk.

Dianne Hearn is described as a kind, loving and friendly person.

She and Affleck apparently had a violent off-and-on relationship.

Police say they had a history of domestic violence.

In the latest developments, WLBT News has learned a cell phone belonging to the missing woman was located near Bolton.

Affleck's initial appearance is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

If you have any information call Jackson Police at 601-960-1234 or Crimestoppers at 601-355-8477.
