FEMA and SBA open assistance centers

FEMA and the SBA have opened a disaster recovery center at 2127 Washington street in Vicksburg.

Residents and business owners who were flooded out are getting rental assistance and other help.

The center is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Residents are asked to pre-register by calling 1-800-621-3362, and bring documents showing insurance policies and proof of residency.
