Plenty from across the state gathered to help preserve those good old vinyl records.
Everyone was invited to take part in "4 The Record."
About a dozen vendors brought their old records to the North Mid-town Arts Center to buy, sell or trade.
Organizer Phillip Rollins, also known as "DJ Young Venom," says he hopes the event acts as a learning experience for those who came out.
"I hope they learn to discover new music or discover music that they haven't heard before, whether its new or old because we're showcasing local artists today as well as just have fun, meet new people and just enjoy the experience," Rollins said.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Salvation Army.
