Man killed in 1 car crash in Edwards

 EDWARDS, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a 53-year-old man died in a car crash on Mount Moriah Road in Edwards.

Hinds County sheriff's deputies say James Coberson of Edwards was traveling southbound around 3 p.m. Wednesday when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Coberson was traveling alone.

The Clarion-Ledger reports the sheriff's department is investigating the cause of the crash.
