Temps High, Pollen Low & Rivers Falling

The Pre-Summer, mid summer weather pattern continues for today and the weekend bring a slight chance of rain in the afternoon. We'll have a 30% chance of afternoon storms today

Saturday's weather will be more like July weather with the chances of rain hovering near 20% in the heating hours of the afternoon. Overnight temps will drop into the upper 60s.

The Pollen Forecast has continued to stay on the low side. For today through Monday the Pollen levels are expected to stay low. And we see no changes in the immediate future.

The flooding along the Mississippi River is still happening, but levels still falling. Greenville's level this morning is 50.1 as of 5am this morning. In Vicksburg the 5am level is 47.4 feet and in Natchez it was 54.7 feet.

The Yazoo Basin continues to fall as well. In Yazoo city the river level was 30.1 feet, steadily falling. In Belzoni the morning measurements was at 23.2 feet.
